  • Novel curved door
  • Coldest cryotherapy machine ever developed

Impetus to Invent

When everyone else’s cryotherapy machines just weren't getting it done, the customer turned to Invent Automation to design the next-generation cryotherapy machine. The units had to be more stylish, cool faster, be colder, and accommodate more heights than any other units on the market. Invent Automation rose to the occasion and built a prototype unit that proved it could be done. As they say in engineering, the best part is no part, so with that in mind, a novel direct inject vortex system was created that used the venturi effect to get gas movement with minimal moving parts.

Problem Solved

Current models could not handle the weight or height of the world’s smallest and largest athletes. Our innovative elevator minimized cold loss and allowed both the biggest and smallest athletes to use the system.

Lessons Learned

When working at cryogenic temperatures, things you wouldn't imagine to be problematic can become issues due to thermal expansion. Much care must be given to proper insulation and thermal cycling.

What Was Unique

The curved railed door is totally unique in the industry.

What Was Challenging

The curved door with insulation worked but making a roll formed part this big accurately then applying proper insulation and padding proved to be a challenge we had to overcome.
